*BOLO ALERT* - John McPherson - La Mesa CA

Authorities asked the public for help Thursday in locating a man who
disappeared while out on bail in a pending East County child molestation
case.
La Mesa police arrested Jeffrey John McPherson, 41, last
June on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy he had met
through MySpace.com, Lt. Dan Willis said. The crimes allegedly occurred
over a nine- month period.
In early December, the suspect failed
to make a court appearance in the case, and he has been at large since,
according to Willis.
McPherson, who faces several molestation
counts as well as a charge of possessing child pornography, is a 6-foot,
roughly 185-pound white man with brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos
covering both his arms.
Anyone with information on his possible whereabouts is asked to call the La Mesa Police Department at (619) 667-1400.
