Overland Park Police Searching for Missing Teen

4:49 p.m. CST, January 24, 2011
OVERLAND PARK, KS —

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Overland Park teen with autism.

Nathaniel C. Darrah, 13, was last seen in the area of 95th and Blue Jacket in
Overland Park earlier on Monday. The teen is described as a white male,
5'9" to 5'10" and 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white
tennis shoes and a hooded black jacket. Authorities say that Darrah has
autism.

Missing Overland Park teen located

A missing Overland Park teen has been located in Lenexa, authorities said.
Nathaniel C. Darrah, who is autistic, was found shortly before 10 p.m. after authorities spent much of the day and evening searching for him. Police say he had been at a friend’s house. Kansas City police and the Kansas Highway Patrol both sent helicopters to help look for Darrah, who didn’t go to school Monday.
