Mother's boyfriend charged with child abuse after police say he allegedly
battered and strangled her 4-year-old child .

According to Reno police, 21-year-old Clayton Whittaker is charged with
child abuse and domestic battery-strangulation
after his girlfriend's 4-year-old was hospitalized February 11.

Whittaker was arrested for Child Abuse, and Domestic Battery - Strangulation. His bail was set at $11,000.
