The JAMIESON Children - 1 and 3 yo - Tonawanda (N of Buffalo) NY

A City of Tonawanda man faces a felony DWI charge and two counts of
endangering the welfare of a child after leaving his 1- and 3-year-old
children home alone while he went to a bar, police said Saturday.

Brian Jamieson, 27, of Simson Street, was arrested shortly after 9 p.m.
Saturday. Neighbors called police after reportedly seeing the
1-year-old child walking alone in the street. When police arrived they
found the children alone in the home with a DVD having been left on the
television. Police said the children had been home for about 41 minutes
based on how long the movie had been playing.

When Jamieson returned home at 8:55 p.m. police said he was visibly
intoxicated and that he had driven. He failed field sobriety tests and
refused a breath test, according to reports. He was held for court and
the children were left under the supervision of their mother, who
returned home from work.
