Chicago police issue alert for missing Lansing girl

A 14-year-old Lansing girl has
not been seen since late March while she was in Chicago's Englewood
neighborhood, police said today.

Kyra Stokes was visiting family
in the area of the 6000 block of South May Street on March 27 when
anyone last had contact with her, Chicago police said in a missing
person alert.

Kyra suffers from Bi-Polar Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, police said.

She's known to frequent the area of 63rd and Richmond streets, according to police.

Kyra is described in the alert as black, 5-feet-4, 130 pounds, with brown
eyes, long two-tone light/dark brown micro-braids and a medium
complexion.
