"Toddler Doe" - 3 yo - Fredericksburg VA

A Fredericksburg couple was arrested Tuesday on child abuse charges.
Authorities say that Candice Sullivan, 21, and Patrick Dawson, 24,
both of Fredericksburg, were arrested for felony child abuse. Sullivan
also faces obstruction of justice and delinquency of a minor charges,
while Dawson faces domestic assault and battery charges.
Police say that they responded to Mary Washington Hospital on April
16 after a report that a 3-year-old child had been admitted with a
broken femur.
The injury reportedly occurred inside the home shared by Sullivan, Dawson and two children.
Both the injured child and a 1-year-old sibling have been placed into
foster care. Sullivan and Dawson were held at Rappahannock Regional
Jail; Sullivan under $2,500 bond and Dawson under no bond.
