Brittany Ann Ornsby was reported missing by a family member Friday night. According
to a MCSO report the 18-year-old girl was last seen at her home on
Tumble Wood Trail at approximately 10:30 pm. Investigators say Ornsby is

LAKEWOOD RANCH — The Lakewood Ranch teenager who went missing last weekend has been found.

Brittany Ann Ornsby, 18, was located in Sarasota this morning.

“We knew an area she might be, so we put the word out down there to
(Sarasota Police Department) and (Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office) to
be on the lookout (for her),” Manatee Sheriff’s Office Public
Information Office Dave Bristow said.

She had last been seen at before 10:30 p.m., April 29, at her home on Tumble Wood Trail.

The teenager has run away before and is taking medication, a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report states.
