Sheriff's deputies looking for teen boy reported missing in Yuma




YUMA, Ariz. – Sheriff’s deputy are searching for a teen boy who has been reported missing in Yuma.

Osvaldo Cortez, 14, left his home in the 400 block of May Avenue Monday en route to Cibola High School.

The school has not record of Cortez being in class and he has not returned home.

Cortez stands about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has short brown hair and green eyes.

The teen was last seen wearing a grey shirt with white and black
stripes, a blue and grey baseball cap, blue jeans and white tennis
shoes.

Anyone with information on Cortez’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at 928-783-4427.

Missing teen found
A Yuma teen who went missing earlier this week is now back at home. The Yuma County Sheriff's Office says 14-year-old Osvaldo Cortez left his home in the 400 block of May Avenue Monday morning. Deputies say officers with the Yuma Police Department found him this early Wednesday. Cortez is now in the custody of his mother.
