Missing boy, 3, with his mother, police say

A 3-year-old boy reported kidnapped this evening is now with his mother, Kansas City police said.

Officers were told that Brad Akins was grabbed off his bicycle about 7:30 p.m. and taken away in a car, possibly as part of a family-related dispute, police said.No charges are expected to be filed, police said.

I'm not even sure this child should be considered missing.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A 3-year-old boy was found safe after he was taken off his bicycle Friday night, Kansas City police said.KMBC-TV reporter Marcus Moore reported that Brad Akins was found with his mother.No other details were immediately available.Investigators said Akins was outside of a home in the 2400 block of East 68 Terrace when he was taken at about 6:30 p.m.Police
said a car pulled up to the home and a male passenger got out and
grabbed the boy before placing him in the car and driving away.
