JESSIE BUMGARDNER - 12 yo - Columbus OH

Police issued a missing child alert after a 12-year-old boy walked out of Nationwide Children's
Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Jessie Bumgardner was last seen walking out of the hospital carrying a red backpack and a
basketball, police said.



Bumgardner, 12, was last seen wearing a red, long-sleeved sweatshirt, dark pants and black shoes
with red stripes.
He is 4 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 70 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Police said that Bumgardner might have been heading toward the west side.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police canceled a missing child alert on Sunday after a 12-year-old boy who walked out of
Nationwide Children's Hospital on Saturday afternoon was found safe.

Jessie Bumgardner was last seen walking out of the hospital carrying a red backpack and a
basketball, police said.

Police said that on Sunday morning, the child called his grandmother from a location on Parsons
Avenue on the east side.

He was then taken back to the hospital, police said.
According to police, he was safe and in good health.

COLUMBUS, Ohio --

A boy that walked out of the hospital where he had been a patient for some time has been found safe.

The boy, Jesse Bumgardner, walked away from Children’s Hospital Saturday afternoon.

Police said that Bumgardner called his grandmother from a location on Parsons Ave on Sunday morning. His grandmother was able to pick him up and return him to the hospital.
