"Toddler John" EDWARDS - 2 yo - Upper Allen (SW of Harrisburg) PA

A Cumberland County mother is accused of throwing her 2 year old toddler
down a set of seven stairs. Responding to a report of child abuse,
Upper Allen Township determined that an angry 21 year old Gisselle
Edwards had allegedly slapped her son and then punched him before
throwing him down the stairs. Edwards was apparently angry at the
child's behavior.

Edwards voluntarily surrendered to authorities after hearing that police
were looking for her. Charges against Edwards include Aggravated
Assault, Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children and
Harassment. Edwards faces a preliminary hearing next month on those
charges.
