The Five REDMOND Children - 8-14 yo - Raleigh NC

The mother of a 13-year-old diabetic
child and her husband were charged Tuesday after police say they denied
medical care to the boy, resulting in his near death.



Jerome
Rufaro Redmond and Nicole Redmond, both age 40, were each charged with
felony child abuse. Warrants state that the couple is also charged with
neglecting four other boys, ages 8, 9, 11 and 14, in terms of medical
care, supervision, education and nutrition.The Redmonds were both
being held in the Wake County jail Tuesday on $40,000 bonds. They are
scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
