Florence County woman arrested for baby's death

The Florence County Sheriff's Office says Raquel Y. Coker, 27, was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when she put her 5-month-old baby girl in the bathtub and fell asleep.
The baby drowned, and now Coker is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.
Deputies say it happened on April 17. Coker was booked into the Florence County Detention Center Thursday.
At Coker's bond hearing, Investigator Jennifer Floyd, with the Florence County Sheriff's Office, said, "We're here today because of a bad decision that turned deadly for the defendant's 5-and-a-half-month-old daughter this is a case of terrible judgement while she was under the influence of marijuana and alcohol."
Magistrate Judge Belinda Timmons set Coker's bond at $15,000. As a condition of her bond, Coker's not allowed to have any contact with the baby's paternal relatives.
Coker has a 3-year-old daughter. That child has been placed with Coker's parents, through the Department of Social Services.

Carley Madison Feltes, 5 months old, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at her home.
Carley was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of Raquel Y. Coker and Jason Feltes.
Surviving are her parents; a sister, Hailey Marie Feltes of Florence, SC ; a half-brother, Lucas Feltes of Florence, SC; maternal grandparents, Roger W. Coker and Lorraine Cammisa Coker, of Florence, SC; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Lupe Feltes, of Columbia, SC; maternal great-grandfather, Samuel Dominic Cammisa, of Florence, SC; and three aunts, Roxanne Coker of Maryland, Emily Ann Coker and Mary Elizabeth Coker, both of Florence, SC.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
