Orlando mom charged with neglect after leaving 4-year-old home alone with guns

An Orlando mom has been charged with child neglect after a deputy found her young child at home alone with guns accessible.

A deputy serving a misdemeanor warrant to the Victory Drive home of Nathlee Loristea Gooden, 27, found the 4-year-old child alone.

While trying to determine whether the child was abandoned, the deputy found a 9 mm Taurus. An unloaded Commando .45-caliber assault rifle was also under the bed.

Gooden returned to the home an hour later and was arrested. The Florida Department of Children and Families also responded to the scene to investigate.
