OCSO seeks public's help in locating missing teen




The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is seeking the public’s help
in locating 15-year-old Courtney Coffield of Destin.
Coffield’s mother last saw the Fort Walton Beach High School freshman
Thursday morning when she left for school. Law enforcement and family
members have been looking for her ever since.
Friends and contacts have reported no contact with the teen.
“A review of the school’s videotape shows Courtney leaving school
grounds on foot around 9 a.m.,” said Michele Nicholson, spokesperson for the OCSO.
Deputies say they have no reason at this point to believe she is a victim
of foul play but are concerned for her welfare.
Coffield was last seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts. She is a white
female with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is approximately 5’2” tall
and weighs around 85 pounds.
Anyone with information on Courtney’s whereabouts is asked to contact
