Biloxi police looking for missing teen

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -
Biloxi police are looking for a missing 14-year-old they believe may be in danger.
Leona Marie King was last seen Thursday
around 3:30p.m. getting into an older model red Chevrolet pickup truck
on St. Martha Avenue.
Police say she needs medication regularly and does not have it with her.
King is 5'9 and 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a ponytail and wearing a white Aeropostale shirt, and jeans.
King has a scar on her left arm near the elbow and

WLOX tip helps find missing Biloxi teen

A Biloxi teen reported missing
Friday afternoon was found at a Gulfport apartment complex and reunited
with her family Friday night.
Biloxi Police said Leona Marie King was found
at the Magnolia State Apartments on West Birch Drive around 8pm. That
address may sound familiar to you, because on Monday night, a Gulfport
man was shot and killed there. Gulfport Police made an arrest in that
case Thursday.
Investigators said a family living in the area received a news alert on their cell phone from WLOX News regarding the missing girl. They saw the photo and information, and realized she was there in the apartment complex.
Once the Gulfport Police Department was
notified, an officer arrived to take the girl back home. Biloxi Police
are still investigating this incident.
