Regional Amber Alert issued

An Amber Alert was issued around midnight for a missing or abducted child from Pickaway County last seen on Duvall Road in Ashville at 6:45 p.m.

Friday.According to the alert, Phillip Zwiller, the non-custodial father of Brayden Zwiller, 4, allegedly assaulted the child's mother an took the child. He is believed to be driving a gray Chrysler Sebring two-door with temporary tags from the State of Ohio. It was being driven by an unknown black man wearing an orange shirt.

The child is described as 3 feet tall weighing 50 pounds with blonde or strawberry hair and blue eyes.

The suspect is a 34-year-old white man with brown hair and blue eyes standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 265 pounds.

Amber Alert For Missing Pickaway Co. Boy Canceled; Father Arrested

ASHVILLE, Ohio – An amber alert has been canceled for a missing Pickaway County boy.

Police located Brayden Zwiller, the 4-year-old boy who was taken by his father early Saturday morning.

Authorities apprehended 34-year-old Phillip Zwiller, the father of the boy.

The child was found safe in Lancaster.

A 4-year-old who was allegedly taken by his non-custodial father
early Saturday morning was found safe in Lancaster. The Pickaway County
Sheriff’s Office reported Phillip Zwiller assaulted the 4-year-old’s
mother and then abducted the boy in Ashville, and an Amber alert was
issued for surrounding counties.On Saturday afternoon, Zwiller was caught at a home in Lancaster, where the child was found.The
Lancaster Police Department noticed Zwiller’s car in front of a home
and found Zwiller inside. Pickaway County Sheriff’s deputies then came
to Lancaster to arrest Zwiller and charged him with domestic violence
and felonious assault. The investigation continues, and it’s possible
Zwiller could face additional charges. The boy reportedly was not
injured during the intial assault on his mother or the arrest.
