WHITNEY ARGENBRIGHT - 17 yo - Petal/ Hattiesburg MS

Petal police are still investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl who was last seen Friday.Whitney
Argenbright was last seen by her sister at about 6:45 p.m. Friday at
their home on Lynn Ray Road, said Petal police investigator Ken Bullock."That's the last time I know of," he said.Bullock
said family members reported that some of Whitney's personal items were
missing from their home - including clothing, a backpack, a makeup bag
and personal hygiene items.He added she was also seen Friday at the Cook Library on the University of Southern Mississippi campus."She
had contacted someone by phone Friday evening around 4, who I
understand was a boyfriend or maybe an ex-boyfriend," Bullock said.He
said the male, whose identity has not been released, had a friend pick
up Whitney and take her to the library at about 5:30 p.m.. He said she
was then dropped off at home at about 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.Bullock
said investigators interviewed the male acquaintance Friday night and
it was determined he was with other people during the time Whitney went
missing.He added it appeared the man, who is not considered a suspect, has not made contact with Whitney since she disappeared.Bullock
said Whitney is listed with the National Crime Information Center, and
anyone with information on her whereabouts can call Metro Crimestoppers
at 582-7687 (STOP) and leave an anonymous tip, or Petal Police at

PETAL, MS (WDAM)- Petal police detective,
Mitch Nobles, said Monday that Whitney Agerbright was located by the
Hattiesburg Police Department in Hattiesburg earlier the same day. She
was found safe.
Officials say they found Agerbright around
9:50 p.m. near the Hobby Lobby on Hardy St. as police were making their
regular rounds.
Petal Police were looking for the 17-year-old teen who was reported missing by her parents Friday afternoon.
The parents of Whitney Argenbright said she
was last seen Friday around 4:30 p.m. by her sister at their home in
Petal. Petal Police received a report from someone who may have seen
Argenbright and a friend at the Cook Library on the Southern Miss
