Missing 15-Year-Old Winter Haven Girl, Police Asking For Help

Winter Haven police asked for the public’s help in locating a
15-year-old girl who early Wednesday apparently left a center where
children await placement in foster care.



Destiny Perez, 15, was last seen at the Devereux Center
center, according to police. A worker was sleeping when she awoke to the
sound of a car door slamming about 4:30 a.m.. The worker searched the
area without finding Perez.Police said they believe Perez left
the center in the car the worker heard. She is Hispanic with brown eyes
and hair. She has a skull and flowers tattooed on her right arm, a star
