ALAIYA VERRET - 14 yo - Terrebonne LA

Terrebonne Sheriff's deputies are searching for a
14-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.
Alaiya Verret, of Houma, was visiting a friend on Everette Street
when she called her mom asking to go to someone else's home, deputies
said. When her mother, Crystal Woods, told her daughter
she would have to talk to the person's parents before the visit,
Verret allegedly got mad and hung up.

Verret was reported missing Tuesday night and has
not talked to her mother since leaving, authorities said. Woods said
she heard her daughter was seen the last couple nights near the Bryson
Mobil Mart, 8059 Park Ave.Anyone with information can call the Terrebonne Sheriff's Office at 876-2500.

Missing teen returns home

HOUMA – A 14-year-old girl reported missing by her mother returned home Thursday night, Terrebonne sheriff's deputies said.

Alaiya Verret, of Houma, was visiting a friend on Everette Street
Saturday night when she called her mom asking to go to someone else's
home, deputies said. When her mother, Crystal Woods, told her daughter
she would have to talk to the person's parents before the visit, Verret
allegedly got mad and hung up. Woods reported her missing Tuesday night.Woods said the investigation is ongoing, but no charges have been filed against Verret at this time.
