The Barstow Police Department is searching for a 13-year-old
girl who police believe was brought to Paso Robles in a possible
parental abduction case.Alesandra “Allie” Abercrombie was last
seen Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club in Barstow. She lives with her
aunt, Mary Brewer, who authorities say is her legal guardian.


Police said Alesandra told her friends Tuesday that she was
going to Fosters Freeze on West Main Street in Barstow to meet her dad,
who would take her to the Shasta County area. Detectives
believe the man Alesandra referred to as her father was her mother’s
boyfriend, Troy Harmon, 41, who may have brought her to Paso Robles,
where her mother lives. Alesandra’s mother, Heather Abercrombie, may be communicating with her daughter by phone, police said. Harmon
is described as a male adult, 6 feet tall and 230 pounds with blond
hair, blue eyes and “numerous tattoos on both arms and his chest,”
police said.Alesandra has blond hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet
tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has bipolar and attention deficit
hyperactivity disorders, according to authorities. Anyone with

BARSTOW • A 13-year-old girl whom police suspected was abducted
by her mother’s boyfriend last week in Barstow showed up safe at her
mother’s house in Paso Robles Tuesday evening.
According to a Barstow Police report, Alesandra Abercrombie was first
reported missing June 7 by her legal guardian and aunt, Mary Brewer.
Alesandra “showed up” at her mother’s — Heather Abercrombie — home in
Paso Robles around 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
Alesandra was last seen near the Barstow Boys and Girls Club on June 7
and had told her friends that she would meet them at Foster’s Freeze,
according to police. She never arrived at Foster’s Freeze and police
suspected that her mother’s boyfriend — Troy Harmon — had abducted her.
Heather lost custodial rights to Alesandra in 2007, according to
police. Alesandra referred to Harmon as “Dad,” but a guardianship
hearing in 2007 had found Alesandra would be “potentially at risk if
placed in Mr. Harmon’s presence or located in the same place he is.”
Police said that they had believed Heather was still communicating
with her daughter and that Harmon picked up Alesandra at Heather’s
request.
Alesandra is expected to be brought back to San Bernardino County and
police say they will continue to investigate her disappearance.
