Missing child prompts search west of downtown Tulsa

Police, family and area residents are searching the area west of downtown Tulsa for a missing 11-year-old boy.

The child, Drake Rodman, was last seen walking around 6:15 p.m. in the
area of Vancouver Avenue and Archer Street, which is north of Charles
Page Boulevard between Quanah Avenue and Gilcrease Museum Road, police
said. His bicycle was found near 1400 Charles Page Boulevard.

Police are scouring the area on the ground and from a helicopter.

The boy is described as white, 4 feet 9 inches tall and about 108 pounds
with short dark hair, Capt. Karen Tipler said. He might be wearing a
white shirt with dark shorts and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who sees the child should call the Police Department's missing person center at 918-596-9159 immediately.
