A Wheeling man has been charged in the March death of his 1-year-old son.Twenty-eight-year old John Krenzel was arraigned Wednesday on a count of felony child abuse resulting in death.Ohio County Magistrate Harry Radcliffe set bond at $150,000. Krenzel is being held at the Northern Regional Jail.WTOV of Steubenville, Ohio, says Krenzel's son was taken to the Ohio Valley Medical Center with a head injury. He was then airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, where he died.The state medical examiner determined the boy died of a closed head injury.Krenzel's public defender, Shayne Welling, declined comment Wednesday.

WHEELING -
A Wheeling man was sentenced to six to thirty years in prison for the violent death of his 13-month-old son.


John Krenzel Jr. entered guilty pleas to
three crimes including, child neglect resulting in death, malicious
assault and child abuse resulting in injury.


Little Teddy Krenzel was rushed to the hospital on March 13, after his father called 911 saying the boy was unresponsive.


Teddy died in surgery at Ruby Memorial Hospital, and doctors say the cause was an abusive head injury.


The little boy's mother wept in court as
prosecutors described the severe brain injury he suffered, which they
said was not accidental, but deliberate.

I wonder what this means. Will the savage murderer only get SIX years or will the jugde serve justice and give him 36. I hope he gets the maximum for murdering a poor defenseless baby. This is just heartbreaking.
