SPOKANE, Wash.—Police are seeking the public’s help finding a missing Spokane teenager.

A friend last saw Alexander Allen, 18, last Tuesday in downtown Spokane. Police believe the teenager was drunk when he vanished near the AMC movie theater. Investigators said Allen usually keeps in touch with his family but no one has heard from him in almost a week.

Allen is described at 6’02” tall, 150 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Allen’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

Body in river that of missing teenager

The body pulled Tuesday from the Spokane River is that of Alexander Allen, 18, who was reported missing July 22, Spokane police said today.

There does not appear to be signs of foul play, police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer DeRuwe said.

Allen was last seen in the downtown area around midnight July 19.

His family has been notified of the death.

The Spokane Fire Department pulled the body from the river in the area of West Boone Avenue and North Evergreen Street.

Kayakers had spotted it about 11:10 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters were able to quickly find the body and retrieve it from the river.

Until there is conformation on the cause of death I will move this to Unresolved Cases.

No more info available right now regarding autopsy that I could find.
