JAMIEON MOSBY - 8 Months (2009) - Sikeston MO

A Sikeston man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for
killing an infant in his care.




The Sikeston Standard Democrat reports that 20-year-old Kevin
Dixon was sentenced Monday for second-degree murder and child
abuse. The case was heard in St. Louis County on a change of
venue.




The baby, 8-month-old Jamieon Quanterius Jatwaun Mosby, died in
2009. Dixon admitted striking the child's head against a wall
because the baby was crying.
