Missing teen being sought

The Beloit Police Department is searching for a missing
18-year-old Beloit man.

The last time anyone has reportedly seen Bilial L. Hammette was
Aug. 6, Bilial’s mother told police when she contacted them on
Friday.

Police say Hammette’s disappearance is highly unusual, according to
his mother and his friends who police have interviewed.
Capt. Vince Sciame said police have entered Hammette’s information
into the national crime computer that all law enforcement agencies
can access.
He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a red T-shirt, and black Nike
tennis shoes. He has a tattoo of a dollar sign under his right
eye.
It is unknown how Hammette would have left the area since he did
not have access to a vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information about Hammette’s
whereabouts to call the Beloit Police Department at 608-364-6801 or
the Rock County Communications Center at 608-757-2244.
