SUMMER BUMPUS - 15 yo - Marshfield (NE of Springfield) MO

(Marshfield, MO) -- An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for a Marshfield teenager. The
Marshfield Police Department says Summer Bumpus, 15, went missing from
533 East Bedford Street between 11 pm August 24th and 6 am August 25.


She's a white female, about 5'7", weighs 140 pounds, has brown hair and
brown eyes and a medium complexion. She was wearing a white tank top and black shorts.

Police say she was in foster care of the Missouri Children's Division
due to abuse by family members and an adult male, Jason Mencl, who is not a family member.

The subject may be in the company of her father, Harold Bumpus; her
stepmother, Charity Mckown; or possibly her boyfriend, Jason Mencl.

Police say Mencl has shown violence towards her in the past.

Summer Bumpus is the protected in a full order of protection. It is
believed that she left voluntarily, but her bedroom window was found
open and she and her bed sheets were missing.

She could possibly be en route to Cassville, Missouri, or Rogers, Arkansas.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or
anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person
should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement
