BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile, considered at risk.

Police
said 14-year-old Kaycee Romero is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall,
weighing 125 pounds, having black hair and brown eyes.Romero was last seen on Sept. 23, when she left for school and did not return, Sgt. Mary DeGeare said.
Romero has a history of running away.Romero is considered at risk due to her age and new information from her family which suggests she may be at risk.Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Romero is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
