CAMORA WICKS - 1 yo/ Accused: Ramon Turley - Albemarle VA

Camora Latay Wicks, the 1-year-old girl whose death in May resulted in murder charges against a Monticello High School student, died of blunt force injuries to her torso, the medical examiner’s office said Tuesday.

Wicks’ death has officially been ruled a homicide.

Charged in her killing is Ramon Turley, who was indicted Monday by an Albemarle County
grand jury on charges of murder; child abuse or neglect by a person
responsible for a child; and homicide in commission of a felony.

Officials have said they believe Turley kicked the baby.
