"Newborn" FIELDS - 9 Weeks - Hartford IL

The father of a 9-week-old child has been arrested after the child
was taken to a local hospital due to head injuries on October 10.
Matthews Fields, 24, faces abuse charges after officers investigated the cause of the child’s injuries.


The investigation revealed the mother left the infant in the care of his father,
Fields, while she left the house. The mother told police after returning home
she didn’t think the child was acting normal so she took him to the hospital.
Bond is set at $500,000.
