"Infant Jane" HOOD - 2 yo/ Accused' LaToya Ann Hood - Colbert Cty AL

COLBERT COUNTY, AL—
A Colbert County mother is in custody accused of torturing her toddler.
Latoya Ann Hood, 30, is charged with torture, willful abuse of a child under 18.

Officials say Hood became angry after her two-year-old wet the bed. The mother
allegedly began beating her son with a belt and belt buckle. Officials
say she also grabbed the young child by his ears, causing them to tear at the back.
Latoya Hood remains in custody at the Colbert County Jail on $20,000 bond.
