CLIFTON PATRICK LEONARD - 16 yo (1983) - Lake Hollingsworth FL

It's been 28 years since Clifton Patrick Leonard went missing from Polk County's Lake Hollingsworth area.
The 16-year-old boy's mother reported him missing in August 24, 1983.
Two
days before he was reported missing, Leonard's father dropped him off
at a friend's Lake Hollingsworth home, where the teen planned to meet
his friends. Later that evening when Leonard's father returned to pick
him up, he had disappeared.




His parents later found
Leonard's bedroom window screen had been removed and his bathing suit
and $20 were missing. His parents never heard from him again.

Friday, deputies released an age-progression photograph of 'Clif,' who would have turned 44 this year.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children assisted with
the age-progression photograph and suggested that he could be about
6-feet tall and weigh around 170 pounds.
