GALLATIN, Tenn. – Police have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly abusing his five-month old son.

Bryant Trey Fisher was charged with aggravated child abuse.

Poster's Note: I hope that this is NOT his mug shot. WTH?

The investigation began Wednesday night when
Gallatin Police were called to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Police said
the child's mother took the boy to a routine appointment where doctors
found the child had several broken ribs that were in the process of healing.

Upon further examination at Vanderbilt, doctors also found the child had a fractured skull.

Both parents were interviewed, and police
said Fisher admitted responsibility. Police said they believe the rib
injuries occurred accidentally, but were still investigating the fractured skull.

Police said the boy was in stable condition at Vanderbilt.

Fisher was held in the Sumner County Jail on a
$125,000 bond. The injured child was admitted to Vanderbilt Medical
Center for treatment and is in stable condition.
