"John Doe" - 9 yo/ Accused: Joseph Whitworth - Alhambra/ St Louis IL

An Illinois man has been accused of abusing a 9-year-old family member who was under his supervision during Thanksgiving weekend.

Joseph Whitworth, 34, is charged with Aggravated Battery to a Child after the child was hospitalized with bruising to his eyes, face, ears, back, arms and chest.
Whitworth reportedly struck the child several times in the head and torso during his holiday visit. The child was treated for his injuries and was released from the hospital.
Whitworth’s bond is set at $50,000.
