CONNOR DEKKER - 15 yo - Kent County/ Grand Rapids MI

Sheriff's deputies in Kent County are looking for a missing person.
Deputies say 15-year-old Connor Dekker walked away from a residence in the area of 68th Street and Thornapple River Drive around 6:30 pm Tuesday night. Deputies say Dekker has medical issues, requires medication and needs to be located as soon as possible.


Dekker is described as a white male standing 5'8” tall weighing approximately 117 pounds. Dekker has shoulder-length dark brown hair and was last seen wearing grey jeans, a black 'monster' sweatshirt and no shoes.

A teen with health issues is home safe this morning. He was missing for hours Tuesday night in Kent County.

15-year-old Conner Dekker was reported missing from his home in Caledonia Township around 6:30p.m. Dekker walked away from the area of 68th Street and Thornapple Drive.

That's were the Kent County Sheriff's Department was for several hours looking for him. A K-9 unit was brought out to help in the search.

There was concern because he has medical issues and needs medication. Dekker was found safe sometime before 2:30 Wednesday morning.

Officials have not said where he was found.
