DANIEL RAY WOMACK - 19 yo - Mexico MO

MEXICO, MO. -- A 19-year old Mexico Missouri man is missing. The
Mexico Public Safety Department said Wednesday evening at about 6:45
p.m. Daniel Ray Womack's mom contacted the department to report her son
missing.
Womack's mother told authorities her son lives with her in Mexico but had left the home on Friday December 2^nd and had not returned.
Authorities say since Womack’s mother reported him missing she and other friends have gotten text messages from the 19-year-old.
However,
one of the messages they received from him indicated something might
have gone wrong and that he might have been in some sort of altercation
and was possibly hurt.
Womack has been entered into the Missouri statewide law enforcement system as a wanted / missing adult.
Authorities said they will keep searching for him until he has contact with his mother or another reliable person.

Authorities in Mexico said Tuesday they are no longer looking for Womack.


The teen apparently got in touch with a family member on Monday. He
said he was not in Mexico and had no plans on returning to the area in
the "immediate future."
