Family Asks for Info Regarding a Missing Teen

The search is on for a missing teenage boy, now gone for nearly a day and a half.

The family of that boy is asking for any information that may help them find him.

13-year-old Austen Rogers was last seen around 3:00 Thursday morning in
Bretz. We're told he was last seen wearing a maroon Aeropostale zip up
sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball cap with white shoes.

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. -- Search and rescue teams from Fayette County are looking for a missing 13-year-old boy in West Virginia.Officials said Austen Rogers was reported missing after he didn’t show up at his grandparents’ house on Thursday.Austen
was staying at his grandparents’ house in the Bretz area of West
Virginia, police said. He left there and took a trail in the woods to
get to his other grandparents’ home, but never made it.Search teams are in the area of Monongalia County looking for him.Rogers is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A lot of details are at odds with the original story in this link. The spelling of last name is different, the named county is different, etc. Bretz remains the same, but even the time is off by AM vs PM. I hope this is just incorrect data and that he is really found.

The Preston County 13-year-old has been found alive and is safe, according to State Police in Kingwood.

Austen Rodgers was found in Monongalia County after he went missing from a home in Bretz around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Police said more information will be released.
