ANGELA VICKERY is 110% as guilty as ERIC EDWARD FOSTER and justice will come for my little cousin Trinity. She let him live at the house, he killed Trinity... therefore SHE LET HIM KILL HER!!!! I'm not worried about him, he wont last once he hits general population... The mother on the other hand I want to see behind bars thinking of what she is responsible for every day until she breathes her last breath!

The man accused of murdering 3-year-old Trinity Hanna pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, torture, mayhem and child abuse at his arraignment Friday in contrast to court documents that show he admitted abusing the girl in the two months before she died.
Eric Foster, also known as Eric Luna, made his first court appearance after being arrested Wednesday afternoon.
Trinity was pronounced dead Tuesday night after her mother drove her to San Joaquin Hospital from their home on Oak Street in Taft.
Foster, 26, was the live-in boyfriend of Angela Vickrey, the girl's mother.
The mother has not been charged.
Foster was picked up by detectives about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. He was taken to Bakersfield for questioning and arrested later in the day.
The girl died from blunt force trauma to her head and abdomen, the coroner ruled.
The report said Foster admitted during questioning that he had abused the girl on 3 separate occasions dating back to November.
Reports noted the healing burns to her back.
The reports filed in court were graphic, listing bruises, burns and other injuries on the girl's body.
"Eric Foster confessed to intentionally burning Trinity's back with hot water, slamming her down on a bicycle seat...and intentionally causing Trinity to fall and strike her head on a coffee table," the arrest report stated.
Multiple sources have said the girl had been hospitalized in late December suffering from burns to her back.

"If there happens to be a criminal investigation that is ongoing,
perhaps no arrests, or there is an arrest, but they have not gone to
court, we are often asked not to provide that information to the media
and to the community because it might jeopardize the criminal case,"
said Human Services Director Pat Cheadle.

But, Grimm said there is another motive.

"What
is often times disclosed particularly where the agencies had past
contact in the child death is embarrassing and raises questions about
whether the public agency has done what it should have done to protect
children," Grimm said.

Grimm sites the January death of
3-year-old Trinity Hanna of Taft. Horrific details of the weeks leading
up to her death are outlined in a sheriff's report. Trinity's mother's
live-in boyfriend Eric Foster was arrested in connection with her death.


"In reading through the 46-page police report. I frankly was
startled by the fact that in early January, Trinity was taken to the
hospital with severe burns from her neck to her buttox, inflicted by
Eric. The child, I believe, said Eric burned me," Grimm said. "Trinity
stayed in the hospital for ten days so we know the severity of the burn.
How that child ended up going back to that home after that burn and
hospitalization is simply unfathomable."

Under SB-39, 17 News has
requested the CPS file on Trinity Hanna. Again, the District Attorney's
office refuses to provide the documents to 17 News even though law
enforcement already made an arrest.

This is not true and you know it. She spent 10 days in the hospital after he tortured and burned her. Yet still her mother took her home for him to continue the brutalization which ended up in the poor little girl's death. I mean murder.

I just don't understand why this POS mother wasn't also arrested.

It is true that the media gets details wrong. Yet, a little baby girl is dead, tortured, burned, beaten and now dead. That is indisputable. The mother is largely responsible. So is the child welfare department.

You can make excuses but you can't change the fact that this woman took this monster into her home and her bed and allowed him to mistreat her defenseless baby girl. She should go to prison for that IMO. At the first sign of pain being inflicted on her baby she should have called 911. She should have kicked him out of her house. There is no excuse you can make for her that will justify her allowing this evil monster to torture her baby to death. NONE.

inspiration for a Taft singer-songwriter. JT Simpson was so moved by the
death of a 3-year-old girl -- after deputies say her mom's boy friend
beat her to death -- he wrote a song.Simpson lives in Taft and

called "Hear Them Cry," he hopes will bring awareness and raise money to

age and my grandsons age; they could have grown up together. They could
have gone to school together. They could’ve been best friends," Simpson
said.Simpson sketched out some lyrics as a way to deal with his
emotions about Trinity's death. When his wife encouraged him to turn his
words into a song, he collaborated with Bakersfield musician Eric
Collom to come up with the finished product."It’s a powerful
message, and the song is about a message of awareness. It’s a message of
hope. I don’t want this little girl, or any child for that matter, to
die in vain," Simpson said.The song "Hear Them Cry" will be
released on Amazon and iTunes this Sunday, to coincide with the start of
Child Abuse Awareness Month."You got to get the word out there, and without
being in somebody's face, they don’t pay attention to it," Simpson said.
Simpson and Collum hope to sell enough copies to help fight child abuse."Proceeds
are going to be going to different child-abuse awareness organizations,
also the Jameson Center in Kern County. I want to give back to Kern

The arraignment for the former Taft woman charged with second degree
murder in connection with the death of her three-year-old daughter was
continued until May 17.
Angela Monique Hanna, 29, made her first court appearance in Bakersfield on Thursday.
It was a brief one, and she did not enter a plea. She is charged with
second degree murder and willful cruelty to a child in connection with
the death of Trinity Monique Hanna.
Hanna was arrested Tuesday when she attempted to attend a pretrial
hearing for Eric Edward Foster, 26, who is charged with first degree
murder, torture, child abuse and could face the death penalty.
He has pleaded not guilty
Hanna, also known as Angela Vickrey, appeared only briefly.
She was handcuffed and shackled and wearing a jail uniform.
In contrast to photos that circulated after the Trinity's death where
she was shown with shoulder length blond hair, Angela Hanna had much
shorter black hair Thursday.
Deputy Public Defender Paul Cadman asked Judge Charles Brehmer not to
allow news cameras to photograph Hanna, and the judge directed the media
to only show Hanna from the shoulders up.
Cadman stayed between Hanna and the cameras during her brief appearance.
He declined to comment to the media.
In the meantime, there are indications that the Kern County District
Attorney will seek to have Hanna and Foster, who was Hanna's live-in
boyfriend at the time of Trinity's death, tried together.
Foster is being held without bail.
Hanna's bail is $2,020,000.

Finally some justice. Angela Hanna is in shackles and going to be put away, hopefully for the rest of her life. Eric Foster could possibly get the death penalty which is also some good news..

Hanna is being held on $2,020,000 bail and is due back in court on May 31.
She is accused of knowing of the abuse her daughter, Trinity Monique
Hanna, was undergoing at the hands of her boyfriend, Eric Foster, but
doing nothing to stop it.
Foster, 26, is charged with first degree murder and torture and could potentially face the death penalty.
Angela Hanna is charged with second-degree murder, willful cruelty to a
child and assault on a child under 8 causing great bodily injury.
Trinity Hanna died on Jan. 24 after her mother drove her to a Bakersfield hospital seeking treatment for a head injury.
Foster was detained early the next morning and arrested later in the day.
