LANDUS WILLIAM WEST - 1 yo/ Non-Custodial Abduction - Detroit MI

DETROIT -
The Detroit Police Department is investigating the case of an endangered missing child from Detroit.
Landus
William West was last seen at 5:30 p.m. Monday. According to the
Detroit Police Department, Landus William West is an African American
male. He's 2 feet tall and 25 pounds with dimples. He was wearing a
blue and yellow shirt with a blue one-piece outfit. Landus has asthma
and uses an inhaler.
According to the Detroit Police
Department, Landus was allegedly abducted by his father, Donovan Eric
Lyles. Lyles is a 23-year-old, African American man who is 5'7'', 145
pounds and was least seen wearing a red and black coat, a black baseball
cap with flaps and a red old English D, blue jeans and black boots.
Lyles is believed to have assaulted the child's mother
during an argument at her home in Detroit, police said. He's then
accused of having a gun and making threats to the child's mother. Lyles
was last seen on foot.

The amber alert for a missing one-year-old from Detroit has been canceled.

According to Michigan State Police and Detroit Police, Landus William West has been found safe. He was returned to his Detroit home, police said.

Landus West was allegedly abducted by his father, Donovan Eric Lyles Monday evening.
