What’s the latest in Zenaida Gonzalez’s defamation suit against Casey Anthony?

We learned today that a Feb. 14 hearing has been scheduled to discuss trial logistics. The trial is set to begin in April.

The hearing with be at 8:30 a.m. on Valentine’s Day. The notice of hearing was filed by John Morgan and Keith Mitnik, Gonzalez’s attorneys. By doing so, they notified Charles Greene, Anthony’s lawyer.

On Monday, Judge Lisa Munyon had ordered that the parties arrange a hearing.

Gonzalez says her life was devastated when she was linked, by Anthony, to the disappearance of Caylee Anthony. In July, Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her daughter. Anthony is serving probation somewhere in Florida for check fraud.
