"Newborn Doe" - 3 Months/ Accused: Chris Williams - Benton AR

Post by TomTerrific0420 on Wed Feb 22, 2012 5:17 am

A Benton man has been arrested after police looked into a report of possible child abuse when a three-month-old baby was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and cracked ribs.

Chris Williams, 30, was taken to jail after detectives with the Benton Police Department (BPD) followed up on the incident.

Williams faces felony charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Battery 1st Degree.

The BPD says Williams was associated with the infant and it was not a case of a stranger harming the child.

Police say this is an on-going investigation and there could be more charges.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the BPD at (501) 778-1171 or (501) 315-TIPS. Anonymous tips can be sent to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.

Is this another POS boyfriend? WTH is wrong with people like this? A tiny baby is so precious, so defenseless, so trusting, so full of love and sweetness, it is incomprehensible that monsters can do this to them.

Yet they do, hundreds of times daily.
