Youngstown Police Searching For Missing Girl, 13

Youngstown police are working on a missing persons case involving a 13-year-old girl named Tateyona Williams.



Police said a friend last saw Williams walking home about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of South Avenue and Lucius Avenue.

The Ohio Attorney General Office's website shows a missing child alert for Williams. She's listed on the site as an endangered runaway.

The attorney general's website states, "The Missing Child Alert is designed to notify the public using media outlets and other partners about a missing child whose missing circumstances do not meet the Amber Alert criteria, but who is in danger of serious physical harm or death to the child."

Williams is a black female, 5'-2", and weighing about 120 pounds. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Youngstown Police.

Youngstown Girl Safe; Missing Alert Canceled

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio --

A Youngstown girl, who was considered an endangered missing child, has been found and is safe.

A statewide alert for 13-year-old Tateyona Williams was canceled Monday morning.

The alert for Tateyona was issued Friday, June 1.

Authorities said the child is safe but didn't release any additional details on her disappearance.

Missing Youngstown girl found

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown teen reported missing since last Wednesday has been found.

Police say 13-year-old Tateyona Williams became lost while out with friends on Wednesday, May 30th.

A notice was sent out on Monday that said the teen was found and safe.
