This is what I think

Post by brockswmn on Sat Oct 18, 2008 7:17 am

I think that Casey took Caylee on the and left the Anthony home on June 16th then around that time she did something to the child as she did not want her monther to have the child ( she was jealous of her own child). Then she went to tony's and made up the story about being in tampa working to her mom. She was planning to go to clai to see Hawkins then her car got towed before she could. Once that happened and cindy went and got her. cindy herself planted the kidnap idea by saying who took her. up until that point casey had one excuse after the other not to go get caylee right then.

I think casey thought the cops would not check out anything she told them and just takle her word for it. Now she is in to deep and has no way out. She stated as much to the cops when she said "I am running out of options it has been a month."

I think she did this on her own and had no assistance from anyone.

I too think she did this all on her own. She had a half cocked story about a nanny stole her ready for when her mom found her. Did not work it all out very well and now can't back off what she started. I think she did it on june 16 sometime between when dad left for work and before cindy got home. she had several hours. i think it was done at the house and temporary burial in backyard. I've wondered lately if while she was at home on home confinement if she maybe told Lee exactly where she finally put caylee and he has gone there and moved her body some place LE will not think to look. with all the cell phone ping discussions he would have enough sense to turn off his cell phone while doing this. No

I have no doubt she did this on her own out of spite/jealousy. She even said she was a spiteful bitch.

This is what I think

I can't go along with any of the theories that Cindy planned or took part in anything before the 911 calls. The panic in her voice when she made the second call was very real, to me. She's not a good enough actress to have faked the level of panic I heard. Also, the statement about the smell in the car was very genuine. She was angry and horrified at the same time.

Having said that, I also think Casey is not intelligent enough to have planned a grocery list, much less a murder. I think she was truly jealous of Caylee. There is plenty to show that Cindy treated Caylee like her own, and treated Casey like a child. Sibling rivalry is a powerful motivator (Cain v. Abel, for example). I think Casey was jealous and aggravated that her fun was being interfered with and that she had been replaced as the "baby" of the family. No question the woman has mental/emotional illness issues. The incredible stories that are so easy to disprove indicate that she does not think ahead or consider consequences. Did she think she could just walk in and announce that Caylee was gone and not have to explain everything? Yes, I think she did. Somehow she believed that people would just give up once she had announced the "fact" that Caylee had been taken away. Remember how persistent she was in telling LE that she worked at Universal? Her insistence is a symptom of magical thinking: "If I wish a thing happened, it did."

God help the searchers. Bring that baby home.

Lee was questioning Casey concerning Caylees where abouts, Cindy comes in and the first thing out of her mouth is who took her. Was this the start of the nanny alibi?

I still regularly think about it all. I would say that Caylee was more Cindy's child than Casey's in Casey's mind. So whatever she did to Caylee, she did to "Cindy's baby." But she also figured she brought the baby into the world and could take it back if she wanted to. Kinda a "na na to you."
We know Cindy and Casey fought, we don't know really what was said. Cindy may have said for Casey to get out but that she could not take Caylee. Casey would have taken Caylee out of spite and I can imagine Caylee crying for Cindy as Casey drove away. Do we know for certain Caylee was at Tony's breifly? I kept reading that he asked Casey to take her home. That would have been when she decided to put her in the trunk. She would sooner become a nun before bringing her back to Cindy that night. It was too late at night to find anyone else. She used Chloroform that she may have well used before but this time she was angry and used too much. Caylee died. Tony said Casey was gone for a while. She may have driven Caylee home then. Bringing a lifeless Caylee to Cindy's home would be a sick revenge. She placed her by the playhouse, knowing she was coming back the next day and that no one would have reason to look there in the mean time. When she came back, she tried to put her in the pool to make it look like an accident. When she started to sink, pulled her back out and layed her by the pool (the two hits in the yard would be explained.) She got a plastic bag and spread it in the trunk, putting a now wet little Caylee there. She can't play out the accident so the next day goes and sees about the apartment and makes up the story about Zeneida in her mind. She starts saying Caylee is with the nanny but the more everyone lets her get by with not having Caylee, she puts off the kidnapping story because she wants to be able to party. I think when she asked for the shovel on the 18th, she planned to bury Caylee. After three days, that smell would be in the trunk. Then the smell only worsened. Padilla I think said the pizza was bought on the 19th and was placed there to try to mask/explain the smell. That may be correct. George later asks for the gas cans. The 24th, I think? This is when Casey starts to think about explaining the smell that she won't be able to hide anymore. the 27th she starts talking about squirrels and as of the 29th abandons the car (Maybe thinking it would air out or be stolen?). Once she is finally caught, she spews the nanny story.

This is the best theory I have at the moment.

While these "accident" theories may be correct, I can't help but think of the internet searches for chloroform, missing children, and Zenaida Gonzalez. These things scream "pre-meditated" to me. Mad
