KIANNA BELL - 11 yo - Bronx/New York City NY

Police are asking for the public's assistance to find a missing child, who disappeared Thursday afternoon in the Bronx.

Kianna Bell, 11, arrived home from school at around 3:40 p.m.

Kianna was last seen leaving the house, located at 997 Morris Avenue, where she lives with her mother and grandmother.

Police say Kianna is a black girl, who stands at 5'7" and weighs about 175 lbs.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at
1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging
onto the Crime stoppers website

Simon Sanchez, 49, was dispatched Tuesday from Bellevue and expected
at his Monroe Avenue home in The Bronx that same day. He didn't make it.
He's 5'10" and about 170 pounds, and was wearing a red sweatshirt, blue
jeans and white sneakers when he vanished. Kianna Bell, 11, also of
Morris Avenue, left the home she shares with her mother and grandmother
yesterday about 3:30 p.m. and has not returned. She's 5'7" and about 185
pounds.

i hope they aren't related but it wouldn't be the first time someone stole a child -

why isn't kianna bell listed as missing with NCMEC?

I hope it means she has been found Ovie. It's so frustrating that most found children aren't reported on.

i do not know the criteria for NCMEC and i don't understand why every missing child isn't listed. i am going to find out why.

NCMEC only issues posters regarding a missing child and an alleged abductor when there is a police report, when the case has been entered into NCIC, and when there is a felony criminal warrant issued for the arrest of the abductor.
