Police are asking the public for help in the search for a 16-year-old township girl who has been missing for about four months.


Kaitlin Alexis, who lives in the northern section of town and who was a student
at Freehold Township High School, was last seen June 21 at the ShopRite
on Route 9 in Freehold, said Howell Detective Nancy Carroll.Police
believe Alexis left on her own, but are concerned because she has been
missing for months and has had no contact with her family during that
time. She is known to frequent the Keansburg and Aberdeen areas, said

is described as white, about 5 feet tall and weighing about 120 to 130
pounds. She has brown eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair.Anyone with information about Alexis should call Carroll at 732-938-4575, ext. 2884.

Police are continuing their search for a missing township teenager,
