BRYLEE WATSON - 2 months - (2010) Midwest City OK

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma – A Midwest City man is accused of killing his 2-month-old daughter.
Jacob Lynn Watson, 25, is being held at the Midwest City jail on a compliant of fire degree murder.



Officers were dispatched to an unresponsive baby Friday at about
10:45 p.m., at 2605 N. Thornton Drive. Officers found Brylee not
breathing and began performing CPR. Brylee was transported to OU
Children's Medical Center. Upon examination by attending physicians, it
was determined Brylee was a victim of abuse, Police Chief Brandon
Clabes said.
Doctors found Brylee suffered from nine different fractures
including both arms, clavicles, her right femur, ribs and her skull,
causing severe bleeding in the brain, Clabes said.
Brylee Watson died Monday at OU Children's Medical Center after having been on life support since Saturday morning.
Watson initially said he laid Brylee down in her crib and checked
back on her a few moments later and she was not breathing, then he
stated he was carrying Brylee when he tripped over their cat, dropping
Brylee to the concrete floor then falling on top of her, Clabes said.
Watson then claimed two black males broke into his house, stole
money from him and then physically abused Brylee and another 2-year-old
in the home. Finally, Watson admitted to causing the injuries and said
he was upset about his deteriorating relationship with his wife and
took it out on Brylee, Clabes said.
"These are the cases that pull at your heart. This beautiful baby
girl suffered severe physical abuse, probably from the day she was
born, until her death and at the hands of someone who was suppose to
love her unconditionally," Chief Brandon Clabes said. "When you look at
the amount of fractures it is unimaginable the pain this child went
through—probably more than most people experience in a lifetime."
Watson has a previous criminal record for larceny from out of Cleveland County and engaging in prostitution in Oklahoma County.
The remaining child in the home has been taken into protective custody and the investigation is still continuing.
Brylee's mother was at work when the infant stopped breathing, Clabes said.

This was horrible, Tom. Completely horrible. I had to turn off the reports, it was really that awful. I've never held any type of hate in my heart for anyone or anything, but it's that kind of guy that makes me want to change my ways.

This SOB needs to be hung by his woohoo's and then set on fire. Yes, I want him fully awake to know what's happening and, so he can experience the pain he put that baby thru. OMG, I am furious.

MIDWEST CITY -- In a house on N. Thornton Drive in Midwest City, police
say a 2-month-old baby suffered greatly. In just her 60 days on this
earth she endured what authorities say is a cruel case for even them to
comprehend.

Chief Brandon Clabes said, "This is the kind of case that pulls at your
heart strings. You've got a 2-month-old baby who's defenseless and is
supposed to have unconditional love by the people who take care of her,
but her father is the one who injured her that resulted in her death."

Police say the mother of Brylee Watson was at work when her husband and Brylee's father, 25-year-old Jacob Watson, killed her.

Physicians found multiple fractures all over her body from her tiny arms to her soft infant skull.

Watson gave four separate stories when police interviewed him; from
tripping over the cat and dropping the child to her breathing stopping
when in her crib.

Chief Brandon Clabes said, "The third story was probably the most
outlandish, was that two people came to his house, broke in, stole
money and physically abused Brylee and a 2 year old in the home."

Police say Watson finally admitted to causing the abuse; he said his
relationship with his wife was failing and took his frustration out on
their baby.

Watson is in the Midwest City Police Department Jail on one count of first-degree murder.

He has a previous criminal record for larceny and engaging in prostitution.

OKLAHOMA CITY - A Midwest
City man accused of killing his 2-month-old daughter pleaded guilty
Tuesday and avoided the possibility of spending the rest of his life in
prison.

Jacob Lynn Watson, 27, admitted inflicting the injuries that caused Brylee Watson's death on Jan. 18, 2010.


Watson pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder and one count
of child abuse as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. He was
sentenced to life in prison on each count, but Oklahoma County District
Judge Ray Elliott suspended all but the first 30 years as part of the
agreement. The sentences will be served concurrently.



“My daughter got justice,” said the baby's mother, Aubrey Lynn
Watson, who divorced Jacob Watson in August 2010, Oklahoma County court
records show.

when r they going to charge the mother?

Doesn't look like they are. Pisses me off. All of the mothers who allow their babies and children to be abused and tortured should be charged. They are guilty. Instead they "grieve" and play the poor victim.

Meanwhile their babies lay in a grave, the true victims. Victims of the murderer and the parent who allowed it.
