BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Authorities are requesting help finding two "at-risk" teens who went missing with their babies.

The Bakersfield Police Department sent out alerts Thursday about the apparently unrelated cases.

Prisma Alarcon,
16, likely headed to Los Angeles after running away Tuesday, police
said. She has her baby, 2-week-old Jaylen Alarcon, with her, and she
has made statements to her family that she may give her baby away.

Alarcon has a history of drug abuse and prostitution, police said.

The other girl, 17-year-old Arely Zometa,
ran away from a Bakersfield-area group home Thursday. She's reportedly
bipolar, aggressive and in need of medication she doesn't have with her.

Zometa has her 3-month-old son, Jose Zometa, with her and was last seen in a black Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information about either girl is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.

McFarland. The bipolar teen had ran away from a Bakersfield-area group
home along with her 3-month-old son, Jose Zometa.
