Mercedes Police are asking for help in finding a missing 6-year-old girl.They said their search has reached a stand still, and they are hoping the public will come forth with information.

Police said six-year-old Mia Elizabeth Flores has been missing for over a year.They said she was last seen with her mother, Mirna Flores, in Lubbock, Texas in August 2008.They said the girl and her mother were also seen with an unidentified woman known as “La Bruja.”Because
the girl’s mother does not have legal custody of the 6-year-old, police
said the case is not considered a kidnapping but rather interference
with child custody.Police said Mirna Flores has an active
warrant out for her arrest. They said interference with child custody
is a felony charge.Police said Mirna Flores is a Mexican national.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime stoppers at (956) 514-8477.Police said there is a reward for information, and that callers can remain anonymous.
