"Toddler John" COX - 6 months - Las Cruces NM

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Dona Ana County sheriff’s officials said a wanted woman has turned herself in to authorities.The sheriff's department said Brittany Cox, 23, turned herself in Tuesday.As
KFOX reported, Cox is charged with child abuse after authorities said
she took her 6-month-old son to the hospital unresponsive.The
infant was transferred to University Medical Center in El Paso where
doctors determined he sustained severe head injuries associated with
shaken baby syndrome.Cox is being held on a $25,000 bond.
