College Park GA ---- An Atlanta-area family says they fear a
12-year-old honor student who has been missing for more than a week is a
victim of child exploitation. The family of Marissa Kamile Sims,
12, says she has been missing since Tuesday, May 11. Her family says
they fear she is being hidden by a child exploitation ring, and
they’re asking for help in locating her and bringing her home safely.


The United Youth Adult Conference II (UYAC) and The Angel of Mercy
Children’s Foundation planned a news conference for Wednesday afternoon.
They say they plan targeted community canvassing after the news
conference, and they will distribute fliers announcing a reward for
information leading to Marissa’s safe return. The family says the
girl is an honor student who is the vice president of her middle
school, and an active member of her church.
